Hiking in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage

Summer holiday at Plan de Corones/Kronplatz

Hiking in the Dolomites – UNESCO World Heritage since June 2009 – means a leisurely walk for some, a challenging day tour to a summit of 3,000 metres for others. Hiking in the Dolomites is a great experience each time, lifting your spirits and leaving you with lots of unforgettable impressions. A holiday at Plan de Corones/Kronplatz however, is so much more than hiking alone! Have you ever been climbing, mountain biking, rafting, paragliding, golfing or have you tried yourself at archery?

The idyllic golf club of Pustertal Valley is in the immediate vicinity (and in sight) of our 3-star hotel near Brunico/Bruneck. The open-country 9-hole course (par 34 with 2,900 m) was designed by Fioravanti and Dassù and offers a driving range, a chipping green, a practice bunker and two putting greens; furthermore, the club offers an inviting club house and a golf school.

An absolute highlight and not to be missed when on holidays in the Dolomites is a visit to one of the many crystal-clear mountain lakes. Take in this fantastic sight in a world where sky and earth become one
